The company trading as RUNOTECH, organiser of the “Managing Cybersecurity Innovation” event, is the controller of the personal data collected for registration, for managing your attendance and for covering the event, as described below.
Processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — GDPR and applicable Greek legislation.

Registration and attendance data
When you register we collect your full name, email address and organisation. Your role or position and your phone number are optional.
We also process your unique registration code and your attendance status, when you use your personal QR code at the entrance.
This data is used to manage and confirm your registration, send your entry code, inform you about the programme and any changes, handle related requests and record attendance.
Required fields are marked in the form. Without them the online registration cannot be completed.
Processing for the above purposes is based on RUNOTECH’s legitimate interest in organising the event effectively and managing your attendance, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, after balancing it against your rights and freedoms.
Live stream via Microsoft Teams
The event will be streamed live via Microsoft Teams so that it can also be followed remotely.
The stream will focus on the speakers, the presentations and the discussions. Attendees may appear in a limited number of general shots of the venue.
For those joining online, depending on their Teams settings, their display name may be visible and, where the relevant features are enabled, their image, voice or messages.
It will be possible to submit a question in writing, so that it can be read out without naming you.
Photography and Publication
The event will be covered photographically and the resulting material may be used on the participating organisations’ corporate social media accounts, solely for informational purposes.
Social media posts are publicly accessible and may be shared by other users. The material is used solely to present and review this specific event.
If you would prefer not to appear in the photographic material, you can let us know in advance at hello@runotech.gr or tell the registration desk on arrival.
Access to the data and recipients
Registration data is accessible to authorised members of the organising team and, to the extent required, to the hosting, technical support, email delivery and audiovisual coverage providers acting on behalf of RUNOTECH, under appropriate data protection obligations.
Microsoft provides the Teams service and the social media platforms host the published photographic material. Processing by those platforms is also governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
Retention period
Registration and attendance data is retained for 1 year after the event and is then deleted or anonymised.
Unpublished photographs are retained for 1 year. Selected photographs and the related posts are retained for 2 years, subject to a lawful erasure or objection request.
Where specific data must be retained for a legal obligation or a pending legal claim, retention is limited to the necessary data and to the period required.
Future updates
Registering for the event does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter. Emails about future RUNOTECH events, training programmes or services are sent only if you give separate, optional consent.
You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link or at hello@runotech.gr.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the legislation, you can request access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of your data and, where applicable, data portability.
For uses based on consent you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
For requests concerning photographs you can contact us at hello@runotech.gr, identifying the photograph or post your request concerns. RUNOTECH will handle the request for material under its control. Complete removal of independent copies created by third parties cannot be guaranteed.
Cookies and the map
The event website does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools. The embedded Google Maps map loads only if you choose to show it by pressing the relevant button.
