Managing
Cybersecurity
Innovation

Compliance, European Projects and Artificial Intelligence in one day of knowledge and networking.

  • Wednesday 9 December 2026
  • 12:00 – 19:30
  • ACG Events Hall, Aghia Paraskevi, Athens

The event

Where security meets innovation

Cybersecurity is no longer a purely technical matter: it touches strategy, compliance with the new European framework and the way organisations innovate. “Managing Cybersecurity Innovation” brings organisations, researchers and practitioners around the same table to discuss how EU regulations, European research projects and artificial intelligence turn into practical solutions.

Through talks, panels and project presentations we look at what works in practice, and at how knowledge travels from research to the market.

Who it is for

  • Business executives

    Decisions, investment and risk management.

  • Project managers

Funding, delivery and exploitation of results.

  • Cybersecurity professionals

    Tools, standards and good practice.

  • Researchers

    New technologies, AI and collaborations.

Participating organisations

Six organisations, one shared agenda

Organisations from research, industry and innovation share knowledge and experience.

  • Adrestia R&D logo

    Adrestia R&D

At ADRESTIA we believe the strongest defense comes from research that reaches the real world. Six years ago in Heraklion we started with a simple idea: combine research with product development. Today, 19 people, five of them PhDs, take part in 14 Horizon Europe projects that shape how Europe protects its data, networks and digital identity, from trustworthy AI to post-quantum security and 6G trust.

That research turns into tools organisations use every day. With Aegis, companies can prepare for NIS2 and find their vulnerabilities before attackers do. With TALOS and HEPHESTUS, automation works for people, safely.

AI is making threats smarter. Our job is to make protection smarter still, and to show that innovation in cybersecurity can start anywhere in Europe, including here in Crete. Security isn’t a barrier to innovation. It’s what makes innovation possible.
